I love the beat from 0:55!
You could do something to the drums to make them slightly more muddy or something, make them fit in better, maybe fit in some old dusty breakbeat over it
what I'm trying to say is that it's sounding pretty dry how it is now, could use some effective processing (the drums)

thanks for the review...yeah i know what you mean about the drums, i have a hard time making them fit right with a song. i usually lay down the bass, snare, hi hat, etc and just sort of equalize it to give it more kick but that's as far as it goes. it's pretty basic, i'd like to be able to do more with em, like how you did the drums in the beginning of 'green shadows', tight

My process is basically playing things through winamp, and then I rip with stereo mixer on Adobe Audition. Save to mp3, send over to FL 7, cut, chop, screw, flip, dip, and whatever the fuck I'm in the mood to do at that time. Thing is that I use multiple songs' samples for one song, so I need to have a pitch correction vst, in this case I use Melodyne. Works well every now and then, but other than that I'd focus on the pitch switch on the sample settings without any vsts.

Really nice composition. Orchestration is good as well - leaving the production part out of the judgement. This would be pretty sick to sample - make a phat beat with it :)

Very epic!
not a bad thing, cause it's hard to do, but you hit the spot I guess.
The piano plays some beautiful notes, overall nice composition.
It does stand, I have to say.
Should be a bit longer though to really fit in a movie scene. But on the other hand, it having to be longer is a compliment as well, so don't bother.
